A hologram. A PowerPoint. A soliloquy coagulated in the uncanny valley. Alyssa Perry’s continuousous egg is a performance-image-text that deftly pricks the membranes of mechanized productivity, learning, and loss, scrambling familial inheritance with workaday extraction, grievance and grief with play and critique. AI slop and machine-looking hallucinations whisk with Perry’s own vocal glitches and seeing to befuddle the absurd-sublime into a delicate emulsion. Joyfully off-putting and curiously undulating. A tender mass.
